About the Sisterhood Reunion
Illinois State Leadership and the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Alumnae Chapter (SHAC) are excited to invite you to the Illinois Statewide Sisterhood Reunion Weekend 2024 – “I Am My Sisters’ Keeper!”
At the 2023 IL/IN Cluster, our amazing Midwest Regional Director, Soror Brittani N. Blackwell, shared her thoughts on the importance of centering sisterhood in the work of Delta Sigma Theta. That message inspired IL State Leadership and SHAC to innovate and host our very first Statewide Sisterhood Reunion Weekend.
The Statewide Sisterhood Reunion Weekend is designed for Illinois sorors to engage, reenergize, empower, and love on each other, while celebrating Delta Sigma Theta. This dynamic weekend includes:
- fun-filled welcome event
- sisterhood empowerment sessions
- a powerful message from our keynote speaker, Soror Shavon Arline-Bradley (president, NCNW)
- comedy show and Club Delta
- uplifting ecumenical service
